Youth Camp - the race

18.12.2009 - 21.12.2009 was EPCOM BB youth camp
i attended it and returned yesterday...
How was it? Now i m telling you...

Pre camp (17.1.2009)
Every group leader and assistant leader were compulsory
to attend. I am a group leader and so i attended
that pre camp.
Early in the morning,
i reached Stallion appartment
At first, we moved everything down from the van
to our seminar hall.
Everybody did their own job...
Around 2 pm, we had our lunch at the tesco food court,
then we went back to Stallion for our courses
by Pastor Ger Wei.
Later then, the praise and worship team including me
had our practise.
After practising, again we went to Tesco for our dinner.
We ate pizza for our dinner.
After dinner, we prepare for our camp
and went to bed at 11.00 pm

First day (18.1.2009)
The registration started at 8 am
We distrubuted a T-shirt, booklet, pen and a bottle
for every member.
My group (Joseph 約瑟) consist of 7 members who were
Si chyi (asst ldr), jia jia, wei chen, ming yu,
der sun jen juang and me. Our advisor
was kuang Hao Sir but Hun Pin Sir took
his place before he present.
The camp started with Ice breaking game
everyone knew each other during this game.
Next was our group corner
we decorated our warm envelope and created our slogan
This was our slogan:
"什么色?" "綠色" "什么色?" "白色" "什么色?" "黑色"
我们是約瑟,杀无赦,不好色,最出色!
Then we took our lunch
After this was our telematch time
what we need to do was
eat a packet of bread, 10 small chilli, three oranges and an apple
This was a "torture"
Then we continued wth our 1st course "Character First"
Pastor Soo gave it.
After this course, followed by "Bible Quest"
we ran to 6 stations to answer all the question
Finally, we got all the clues
and found the "treasure" psalms 34:4
i sought the lord, and he answered me;
he delivered me from all my fears
our team won it.
tat night, after dinner and P&W,
we took 马锦华硕士's course
he was funny and made everyone laughed
Around 11.00, we had a debrief and went to bed...

Second Day (19.12.2009)
we woke up and exercised
After the breakfast, the members had their group devotion
and i went to prepare for the P&W
cause i was the song leader for that day
of course nervous. under god's blessing,
he took away my fear and made the process went smoothly
again we had the "Character First" course.
although we were tiring, we still finished that course
We went on to the next programme - station game.
There were 5 stations and after 4 stations,
i went back for my father's
Han Chiang 30th graduate anniversary dinner
That dinner was held in Equatorial Hotel
Unexpectingly, i met 1 of the youth camp members
She was Soon Phaik Ling.
After asking, i knew That she also came out
for the dinner and i knew that
her father and my father were schoolmate!
After the dinner, we went back...

Third Day (20.12.2009)
I went back at 7.30am
Everybody just finished their morning exercise
and preparing for the breakfast
As usual, after the breakfast, each group did
their own devotion and again i went
for the P&W practise.
During the P&W session, i was the song leader
We praised and worshiped our lord.
Later then was 马锦华硕士's course again.
After his course, he answered some of the members' question
we understood more...
We took our team photo and overall photo
after the course and now came our lunch time.
After eating, we prepared for our sketch
our topic was "Facebook" and must be related to our group name
We used "Friends for sale" to sell Joseph to Egypt.
According to the bible, there was 7 years of great abundance
and 7 years of famine. We used "Farmville"
to bring out this story
i was Joseph, Jenjuang as pharaoh, jiajia was potiphar,
Si Chyi was potiphar's wife, der soon and wei chen
acted as the guards and ming yu was Judah
we acted and got the third.
Again we took "Character First" course
and followed by Station game. Everyone worked their
best until we won as the champion.
After wash up, dinner and P&W,
we watched a movie on someone's testimony
After sharing, we had a fellowwship and went to our bed...

Forth Day (21.12.2009)
We woke up and packed all of our belongings
prepare to go home.
After breakfast, devotion and P&W,
the chairlady, Hooi Ling
announced the winner for youth camp.
Joshua group won 2nd runner-up,
Gideon group was the 1st runner-up and
Joseph (my group) was the champion.
Wad an unbelivable result. We praised lord
and went home.
5 days 4 night camp passed in a flash
waiting for next year youth camp......

During the holiday, we were given a civic project. And the date line was 31st August.
BUT we started our work only from last Wednesday (2-9-2009). Sze Hao invited me into his group which consists of kaijiun (me), Cornelius, Timothy Ting and Sze Hao. Everybody was given their own work. I was in charge in the flag and logo with their meaning of Sarawak, Sabah, Negeri Sembilan and Kedah. I also did the refleksi, masalah dihadapi and cara mengatasi masalah yand dihadapi. And i did everything well. See, how responsible am i...

Advanced Managment Course

Last Thursday and Friday, my school organized an " Advanced Management Course " 高级管理课程. Every clubs high committee, which included chairman, secreatary and treasurer must attend that course. i, the VICE CHAIRMAN of Consumer Society also attended that course. Actually, vice chairman can chose not to attend. But i attended. hehe

Day 1
i reached SMJK chung Ling at 8.00 a.m. sharp. we entered the school hall and sat at our own society seat. i entered, took a file, found P 18 seat and sat down. when i reached there, Kang shen (treasurer) and Yu Jun (secreatary) have reached there.
After the registration, the courses started with Mr. Cheah Kok Keng's "Peraturan dan Pentadbiran Gerko". Then followed by Mr. Yeap Hock Chye's "Budaya dan Protokol Sekolah".
-rest time-
After the recess, Mr. Soo, the school senior assistant gave a course on "Sistem Pentadbiran Sekolah" and the 1st day ended.

Day 2
Same as the 1st day, we reached school at 8.00 a.m. we entered the hall, find our seat and settle down. The 1st course was given by Mr. Ho. Before his course, he kept scolding at those who were late. Until he was happy, then he started "Pengurusan Markah Gerko". From there we learnt to key in member's mark to the web. Mr. Tan Han Kuan came in and continue the 2nd course "Prosedur Memohon Bilik".
-rest time-
We came back to the hall at 10.10 a.m. the course continued with Pn. Loh Siew Peng's "Perancangan dan Perlaksanaan". We learn to plan, manage and handle an activity. Finally, we came to the final course Pn. Tan's "Borang. Dokumen dan Fail" She taught us when and how to fill in those forms, handle our club's documents and file.
Finally, the 2 days " Advanced Management Course " ended succesfully.

7 a-side football Tournament

Our school had just organized a 7 a-side football Tournament last Saturday (22-8-2009). At the very begining, Jo El, Justin and me wanted to signed up for our own football team "Tenaga Nasional". We planned well. And we hv some star player eg. Zhuan Khai, Stanley... in our team. Somehow, a bb team named "Who's your daddy" had formed. Many of our star player moved to "Who's your daddy" (including me). "Tenaga Nasional" was almost collapsed. Under God's blessing, Chow Ping (captain) managed to find some members to "Tenaga Nasional" but they were still lack of strikers. They bidded me. After a successful 11 million+Cheah Yun (winger) bid, i moved to "Tenaga Nasional".

At the next hour after our exam last paper, we had our 1st training. We trained our formation, tactics, penalty taker, free kick taker... we really enjoyed during our training session.

THE NEXT DAY...
16 teams gathered in front of the school hall. Captain were ordered to register in front of the counters. Our captain (chow ping) was late. Therefore our vice captain (Jo el) and coach (me) took his job. We were scheduled in Group D competing with The Reds, Dream Team and Dummy Ancient Pro (DAP).

Dream Team 1-0 Tenaga Nasional
After our warming up session, we started the 1st match against Dream Team (Form 5 Team). The rain and the pools of water restricted our passing. Ball cannot move as usual on the watery field. During the match, Joel managed to shot once but the ball flew over the crossbar. I managed to shot on target once only. How miserable. After 20 minutes, the match ended with 1-0. We lost.

The match started after the refree's wistle. In the very begining of the match, Chow Ping crossed the ball into the penalty area. I found a chance and scored into our opponents' goal. That goal was terrific until the goalkeeper was shock. He said that he was unable to react before the ball enter. That was our team very 1st goal and the last goal. But that goal boost up every members' spirit. Finally we won with 1-0. Tenaga Nasional was ranked 3rd after that victory.

Just after the match against The Reds, we sat for our last match against Dummy Ancient Pro. Most of their members are Form 3 and Form 4 kids. but mostly all of them are school team. How can we fight against them? They were strong, fast and skillful. Justin was knocked down by D.A.P members during the match. Our keeper was also injured slightly after hitted by the opposite member. Many shots were blocked by keeper and some were out. But the unfair refree counted them as goal. nevermind, we just obeyed the refree without arguing with him. why? Because we are aiming for fair-play award. (a team which receive least cards). After the match ended with 10-0, the refree requested the goal scorers to follow him. Almost the team followed him. haha.

Anual Recruit Training Training Camp aka ARTC

Continue from the previous post
After completing all the tasks,
we shared among 10 of us
After the sharing, i bathed...
(first bath wth shampoo from the 1st day of STU)
i am the PSC drill comp. 2nd team
so i got a drill T-shirt
After the bath i wore on my drill T-shirt.
After that,
me, ting, jo el and adrian
took our own sweet time
walk slowly to SMK Teluk Bahang
That time the ARTC members were having Drill Competition
We went there to look them drilling
and assist in the personal drill competition

After that was the amazing race session
me n kang shen were in a station
named "Tearful Eyes"
The players were told to eat up
awful food
Wasabi, garlic, ginger, onion, bitter gourd...
on a bread n a beverage wth bitter gourd... in it
How can u imagine?
Every player sure be "tearful"

Then till the night was "mini concert" time
wth all presentations by the members, committee team and officers
Many talent show made us surprised,
sweat, feeling lame, laugh...
One of them was the officers team sketch
They performed cutely and their story was creative
The story began wth a loving couple in a garden
They sat down on the chairs (there were 4 chairs: eric, jia yong, wei jian, xiao kai)
at a table (kang shen)
They ordered a drink but the waiter was so "careless"
He accidentally SPILLED the drinks onto the table
This repeated twice.
The third time, the waiter handled
carefully served the drink to the couple
This time, the couple
ACCIDENTALLY spilled the water onto the table
Kang Shen was wet
Then the couple saw 2 robbers wth parangs
The 1st robber wanted to "pee"
He peed onto Eric(By using a TEKO filled with water)
Then the story ends
For u this is just a lame story
but when u look at how they perform
this is totally different from wht u imagine
Their facial expression, conversation... were funny

Same on that night, we played war game
where members were seperated into 3 groups,
liu bei, cao cao n sun quan
at first, our team(liu bei) combined wth sun quan
to force cao cao down.
After cao cao dynasty was destroyed,
sun quan strong army demolished our team (liu bei)
Then the war game ended

We were really exhausted
Can u imagine we straight assist ARTC
after our STU?
we were very tired.
That night, five of us,
me, ting, stanley, jen juang n yu jun
slept on a dirty stage without bothering our environment,
we dozed off immediately
of course i prayed before i sleep
Next morning,
after we woke up, we did everything ordered,
packing up our luggage,
attended the closing ceremony,
receiving a STU t-shirt and left
Teluk Bahang

Lastly,
believe in HIM can make u a difference
which what i hv learned in
STU and ARTC.

Special Training Unit aka STU

Guys,
just came back from ARTC / STU
Curious wth what we hv done?
Wanna to noe how we hv been "torture"
Anyway, i m goin to share what happened to us.

Day 1
I was called up by Timothy to assist him in CLHS
bcz before that i m foloing him to STU
This made us late in STU

How lucky were we.
when we reached there,
stanley, pei jie, jo el, kang shen,
yu jun, thing Shern n jen juang
were doin Commando rest.
As we know, they were doin commando rest
until we appear.
Jia Xiong (General) gave us the permission to
stand there looking them.
everybody could bring 8kg onli
but i brought nearly 12kg
so...
brought out many things
n something were confiscated by An Soon sir
as a reason to "reduce our weight"

STU started wth a story...
Everybody hv our personal identity
we hv to search our name tags n body line hid by "enemy"
We were carrying a secret.
After finding, jia xiong n jia cun
told us that we must run to the Jetty
in 45 mins before a bomb reached.
we did it.
another task is to carry our
luggage n two 5 litres bottle hike across 2 hills
to Kerachut Beach in 1 hr 30 min
again we did it.
Both generals were surprised

Then,We were given 2 tasks
One is to cook our own lunch
One is to build our own sandcastle

We finished those two tasks at approximately 3pm
But we were given till 6pm
so..
we slept

After woke up
we were given a short brief
before next training-
"Commando race"
This can be said the thoughest training in STU
First task
We must run across the beach twice
Then...
Go up to the bridge
Duck-walk across the bridge and come back again
THEN...
Go into the sea
Push-up 50 times and Star Jump 50 times
Then...
We must Frog-Jump towards the boat located near the seaside
go there and back
I was quite behind at the starting (my strategy)
But...
during the frog-jump,
i move faster n became the 4th of 10

1st: Ooi Jen Juang

4th: TAN KAI JIUN (me)

The last 3 places were given a can of ISOMAX each
The first 3 places did not get anything
haha "unexpected"

The 1st night was our solo camp night
My 1st experience to sleep in
a jungle without any accompaniment
Fear? Bored?
Nothing...
Nothing special happened on me.
But different from Timothy
he was chased by dog. haha xD
After reading the bible verses,
i try to sleep...and i slept
in the wee hour of 4 and woke up at 6.
Wan ask how?
Just sleep barely on the ground
Energy left: 50%

Day 2
Energy recovered: 55%
Withour any breakfast,
we started our hiking back tp Hutan Lipur
After 2 hours and 10 min, we reached
the instruction want us to reached there in 2 hour
we were late.
How?
From the story, we were captured by our enemy
We did 30 push ups wth our luggage on our shoulder
1 word to describe
" GAI "
we started our next commando race
We carried our luggage
Crossed the river
And when we got up
We had to Duck-Walk up the slantin hill till we reach a checkpoint
Then...
We were supposed to
Sit Up 20 times
Commando Rest 1 minute

1st: Ooi Jen Juang
2nd: Sim Pei Jie
3rd: TAN KAI JIUN (me)
*from 4th to 10th i m not sure.
Then,
we got ourselves ready for the Search and Rescue mission
Adrian and Stanley
were the casualties for this programme
They were left injured up in the hill
Therefore we had to search for them
(just according to the story)
we made our stretcher
and carry Stanley down Png Hill
and also across many rivers.
under Boo Keat sir's encourage,
At last we succeed.

Finally, Lunch time!

Stanley cooked.
we ate.

After lunch we started our
journey
We were given a task to complete
10 people seperated into 2 groups

KAI JIUN (me)
Timothy
Jo El
Yu Jun
Stanley
were in the same group.
Pratically We walked about...
15km In just one night
Always remember tis is STU

After the 15km walk
We went back to Hutan Lipur
the other team were there,
waiting us...
Chia Cun sir said:
"let's play Hide and Seek,
to decide where you should sleep."
we still nid to play although all of us were sleepy

I was arranged in partner with Jo El
How lucky were we...
at the 1st found,
we found timothy n kang shen
on a lorry in 10 seconds time
haha leading...
After 5 rounds n final round,
(searching for officers)
our team was the 1st runner-up
We got to sleep in a pondok
After settled ourselves
we slept straight away...
This ended our 2nd STU day.
Energy left: 20%

Day 3
Energy recovered: 25%
We woke up by Thing Shern
And went to SMK Teluk Bahang for some courses
First course:
Monkey Crawl
we made two types,
a horizontal and a vertical gadget
Clove Hitch is needed.
Next was the archery
Eveybody was given a chance to shoot 3 arrows
i missed all...
nvm at least a good try.
After that we walked back to Hutan Lipur agn
And cooked our lunch
We were given half an hour to cook n finish our meal
we able to finish but we forget about our potato.
Then we hv to do duck-walk until we finish
all the potato.
Heere comes the last part of
STU
The final "torturing training"
Jia Xiong told us if we wanted to gv up,
just tell him the secret on the 1st day
just a simple sentence n then u can
rest aside.
The training started...
we lined up on a slope
First,
we did a "tougher" star-jump for 50 times
Why is it tougher?
Bcz we had to squat down n jump up
by streatching our hands n legs.
We rested every 10 sets.
Then,
Commando rest
Every time we hv a target time to do
but this time was different
we were ordered to do this
until Jia Xiong wanted us to stop.
Tired right?
We "rested" for 5 mins over
We were unable to do that on our 1st day
But on the last day, we manage to do.
Then,
star-jump
(different from the 1st task)
Same, we were ordered to jump
until jia Xiong wanted us to stop.
we jumped
n jumped n jumped
Until we jumped 300++ non stop
i thought this was the final training
my strength was limited.
i was about to "collapse" and give up
i raised up my hand n tell Jia Xiong
" we will not gv up!!!"
and continued...
Finally the last challenge is
......(dun noe wat's the name)
When Jia Xiong say 1,
we must stand up
When Jia Xiong say 2,
we squat down
When Jia Xiong say 3,
we lie on the floor
This process repeated for over 100++ times
And we finished all...
We completed
"STU"

Squad Leader's Training Course.

We have many 1st times...
1st time we walk
1st time we speak
And i had my 1st time as a
BB Training Camp committee on the 1st of May.

This was a 3 days n 2 nights camp.
My life in the camp is shown below:

Day 1
I reached HQ at 7.00 am sharp
Many were in BB room
preparing everything for the camp
Registration started at 7.30 am
i was ordered to punish those who were late.
Then the opening ceremony
started at 8.00 am
Ice breaking game n course was given
just after the ceremony.
Everybody was hungry after the course
but still
they have to march for 1 hour 30 min
2nd course was given
after the lunch.
We started to set up the Team building game
i was the stationer for the 1st station
we played football in the game
football requires teamwork
At 1st Kum Heng sir scored made them leading
but after a while Zk lim equalised
by scoring into the net.
Ltr i kicked the ball into the goal
That goal made us won.
P&W and 3rd course held after the dinner
They collected 1300 starjumps
from that day.
So, "extra activities" was given untill 2.00 am

Day 2
I went to CLHS for the weekly meeting
There, i taught Form 1 members drill
wth Chian Siong.
Our club organized a trip to oat factory
n St. Anne Church we went to Jusco
after our half-day trip
Pn. Hong, our teacher advisor
fetched us to HQ after the trip
They were waiting for the water games.
My station, "Protecting the VIPs"
made every member totally wet.
P&W wth the church youths
after our Steamboat dinner
but we hv to clean up after the dinner.
Same as the 1st day,
"extra activity" wth 1000++ starjumps
did by those campers.

Day 3
Today was the last day
I polished my uniform parts
just as we woke up.
Change up my uniform for the Sunday service
Then, we had our "brunch"
(breakfast + lunch)
i went back early before the camp closing ceremony
everyone misses me...

Annual Mega Boot Camp

on the 21st of March (Saturday),
Mega Boot Camp held at
SMK Air Itam,

Early in the morning,
it was raining heavily
but the "fire" in our soul never extinguish
we gathered at SMK Air Itam
at 7.00 sharp.
when i reached there, Adrian Eu
has reached there,
welcoming us in the rain.
as i walked into the school,
almost everybody were there
they invited me with their warm smile
ltr, we were ordered to set up
everything...
Attendances were taken
after everybody was here.

Main event came in...
AMBC started wth "ice breaking"
then, we had an "amazing race"
there r many tasks for us to go
my team, squad A1
under my leading, got the 1st position
but we were ordered
to make a song wth every member's name
in it. there, we lost to 2nd position
haha xD
we had chicken rice as our lunch
the "fun fair" was here after
the lunch.
Each platoon must gather coupon
from each stalls to get a higher pt.
At 1st, we r leading
but when the rate dropped to -11,
that made us drop to the last
anyway, we enjoyed...
Talent show went through
and reached the promotion time
timothy n i were promoted to L/cpl
3 were promoted to cpl
god gave me the chance to
become a lance Corporal
through officers i should appreciate it...

Advanced NCO Training School (ANTS)

On the 1st day of
School Holiday,
i went to the ANTS
which was held in SMK Teluk Bahang
We suffered there for 3 days n 2 nights.

Day 1
I woke up at 6.00 a.m.
After breakfast,
i move out at 6.40 a.m.
n reached 8th Penang Company HQ
at 6.55 a.m.
after everybody was here,
we went onto a bus
n moved to SMK Teluk Bahang...
When we arrived there,
many BB companies have
arrived there
2nd Penang, 1st Manjung,
3rd Manjung, 3rd KL ......
we took our attendance
and got a name tag, notes, t-shirt...
we started our 1st activity:
ice breaking to know our team members
Stanley, Zhuan Khai n Khoon Yen
were same group as me.
After this was the chairs game
70 of us carry 80 chairs to the parade ground
what we needed to do is
carry the chairs
from aside to another side
forming the same formation
in the shortest time.
we took 3 min 08 sec for the 1st round
after 7 rounds, we manage to
make it 18 sec only
unbelievable right ?!
we discuss in our group n had our
lunch at 2.45
unfortunately, 5 people has been
wearing the wrong socks
so all of us must run the football field
for 5 rounds.
finally we ate our lunch at 3.15
after the lunch it was
opening ceremony time
i hv forgotten to bring my cap
so, no need to go under the hot sun
usually the officers just walk by
non concerning their uniform.
but, our troublemaker officer
walk pass n checked everybody uniform
then the drill session began...
courses r given after our dinner
then we went to bed...

Day 2
We woke up at 5.30
and went for physical training
we were ordered to run
the parade ground for 16 rounds
but, after running for 5 rounds,
we went to our breakfast
During our Sunday service,
the speaker presented a magic
besides speaking...
we had a managing game
after the service, lunch,
and the game,
we watched a movie
"over the hedge"
quite interesting, a story about a squirrel
after resting for half an hour,
we were given dinner n courses
were given by our coaches...
unfortunately, after the courses,
we did 3000++ starjumps
but after negotiating with Mr. Loh,
we were given 1560 starjumps
n we had our rest at nearly 4.30a.m.

Day 3
Finally we hv reached the last day
as usual, we ate our breakfast
and went through our courses.
the closing ceremony
hv reached n certificate were given
to all participants.
we were ordered to clean
our dorm before we leave
the last lunch was taken
this was the best lunch we hv
taken during the camp
we were given a ball
for our captain ball competition
of course 8th Penang Company
won 9-6 hahax...
at the stroke of 4,
we aboard to the bus n went home

the camp ended...

Why Jesus Came?

God is love. He proved his love 4 us,
by sending Jesus into our world-
fully human n fully God.
" God so love the world that He
gave his only Son, that whoever
believes in him should not perish
but hv eternal life" (John 3:16)
He came to remove the berrier
between us n God.

Just before he died, Jesus said
" It is finished! "
This was not a cry of defeat
but a cry of victory
The debt of man's sin is paid
The way back to God is now open.

The way to God is now wide open.

So many miss this last step n thus
never come to know Jesus Christ.
Perhaps no verse in Bible makes
the this last step clearer than
Revelation 3:20 Jesus is speaking
" Behold i stand at the door n knock;
if anyone hears my voice n opens the door,
i will come in to him..."
Jesus Christ waits outside the door
of ur life. He will not force his way in.
He wants to be asked in.
The handle is on the inside;only u can open
the door. You become a true christian
when u open the door n let him come in
in live in ur heart n life.

Trust his sure promises.
" If anyone hears my voice n opens the
door, i will come in to him... "(Revelation 3:20)
" He who believes has eternal life." (John 6:47)
" I m with u always, to close the age"
(Matthew 28:20)

The way ahead

You need to grow strong
as a christian. You need food ,air n
exercise.
Food: The bible is the Christian's food
God will speak to u through bible.
Read it everyday.
Air: Prays. Talk to Jesus christ
naturally as ur frenz. Spent time
only wth him daily.
Exercise: (1)Worship
Join a local church. Nvr miss
church on Sunday.
(2)Witness
Tell one other person
that u hv surrendered ur life to Christ.

What is a Christian?

Are You a Christian?

I was brought up in a Christian home.
That doesn't make u a christian.
My mother always went to Church
That doesn't make u a christian.
I believe in doing good, helping others.
Quite right too, but do most people.
That doesn't make u a christian.
I believe in God.
Most people say this, but that
doesn't make u a christian.
Many people think they are christians
but rarely bother aboutJesus Christ.

Well, what is a Christian, then

Lets begin at the very beginning...

In the beginning...

when God made human beings,
he made them perfect and sinless.
He wanted us to be his good frenz
and look after the earth

He gave us a precious gift, free will,
to chose between right n wrong.
He did not want to force us
to love him.
He wanted us to love him freely.

But people chose to disobey God;
they chose wrong.
They preffered to pleased them well
rather than God. They sinned.
It is a disease we all have,
bcz "all have sinned" (Romans 3:23)

What sin is
Evil, wrong n sin r there in
the ilfe of everyone born into the world.
It's a part of our very nature
I sin when i come short of God's standard
" All have sinned and fall short
of the glory of God."

I sin when i do what i want.
The bible says, "Each of us has turned
to his own way" (Isaiah 53:6)

Sin is not just killing, stealing ,or telling lies.
I sin when i live to please myself
rather than God.

I sin when i do not love God with
all my heart. Jesus says,
"You shall love the Lord ur God
with all ur heart n all ur soul
and with all ur mind.This is the
1st n greastest commandment."
(Matthew 22:37-38)

No one of us has loved God like this.
We hv all broken the
great commandment. We r all
self-centred rather than God-centred.

A Chemistry Lesson

Last 2 days was Saturday
but a school day
never mind i still attend to it

1st lesson was additional maths
then continue with
2 BM lessons
after that was Maths lesson
the lessons are bored ...

Hah recess time
i had a plate of RM1.50
"char kuay kak"
with an egg
and
a soya bean drink

And now was
CHEMISTRY lesson
this was the 1st time
we enter the lab
we were ordered to
do an experiment
on the melting of Naphtalene

First we prepare the
apparatus of the experiment
bunsen burner, thermometer,
stopwatch, beaker...
and the experiment started
We set up the apparatus
Timothy looking on the thermometer,
Kean Yong drop down the reading
and i was doin nothing
our group went quite sucessfully

Some of the groups play with
the naphtalene
Timothy lighted a matches
and found it was so interesting
then followed by Ernest
Worse still he tried
to put a lighted matches into
a leaked mercury
sure it failed.
Timothy tried with 2 matches
again and he got a huge flame

Then 4 matches
more and more
The lab was full with joy
and we went on a
nice Chemistry lesson...

Chinese New Year

The new year came
and everyone
including me are so busy
and here comes the Chinese New Year...

Let me start from
the Chinese New Year eve

Everyone was looking forward
to the Chinese New Year
and now it was the time
early in the morning
i woke up
as usual after
brushing,
clean up myself,
feeling so refreshing
then i went to my
grandmother's (mother's side) house
we had a simple lunch there
then we went home...
At night, dinner time,
i went to my
grandmother's (father's side) house
to take our dinner
also known as
the reunion dinner
the dishes were quite
attracting ...
after the dinner,
i just doing nothing
and slept at 1.30 a.m.

First day of Chinese New Year:
woke up late
every time the same
after we woke up,
we got angpow sure
from our parents
i took a bath then,
went to my grandmother's house
Many of our relatives were there,
receiving angpow from them...
hahax got many angpows...
Besides,
this day was one of my relative b'day
we went to celebrate at
gurney drive roundabout
Mcdonalds "i'm lovin it"
after,
i went home and watched
" Red Cliff "
of course not in cinema
i downloaded from the web.

Second day of Chinese New Year:
woke up late...
today is boring
nothing to do
every thing just
almost the same as
the first day
we just stay at home
and spent almost our time
at home...

Third day of Chinese New Year:
Something different today
hahax
but not big difference
from the 1st day and 2nd day
as usual
stay at home
nearly 5.00 in the evening,
we went to our friend's home at
" Parit Buntar "
we spent almost an hour to reached
our destination
There is a village area
we play a fool to a cat,
dumping rubbish into a lake
looking at the bird nest
and many ...
Finally we went home
at 10.30 p.m.

these were the things happen
on me during the
first 3 days of Chinese New Year ...
hoping that the time goes slow
and the school reopen later ...

Genting Highland

Hi ,
I came back from
Genting Highland
2 days before,
These are the
events happened there...

Day 1
I woke up in
the wee hours
6.00 a.m.
then took a bath,
clean up myself
and ready for
the journey...
At 7.30a.m. ,
we took a coach
and started our journey...
8.30 a.m. we stopped
at a rest station
and took our breakfast
i ate nasi lemak and
drank milo then
we continued the journey
We had our lunch
at a cafe at 1.00 p.m.
then we went up to Genting
At 2.00 p.m.
we finally arrived our
destination
After checked in
to our hotel
we had a short break
in the room
At night we had
a buffet dinner as
an opening ceremony
for the 3rd international Han Chiang gathering
then we went back
to hotel and slept...

Day 2
Early in the morning
we woke up
and had our
delicious breakfast
After the breakfast,
we had our time
at the game store
we won a rubic
and a stupid gift
haiz...
Then, we took
our lunch at a restaurant
went back to
our room and took a rest
The night had arrived
we went for a dinner
Han Chiang 3rd ex-students Gathering
We had a course dinner there
the foods were delicious
After the dinner we
went back...

Day 3
As usual,
we woke up and ate...
this was the last day
in Genting
we packed our luggage
and ready
to back...
At 1.30p.m. ,
after taking our lunch,
we went up
to our coach and
went back to Penang
That's how our trip
ended...

today woke up
in the morning

to Genting Highland...

My last trip
to Genting was the
mid-year holiday
on June
I went there
after the school exam
relax there...

tomorrow we must
started our journey
early in the morning

from Genting,

for an orthodontics treatment
At first
i felt nothing

today my teeth r in pain

we had a meeting
for recruitment day
As a secretary 2 (boring work)
i need to help
adrian lim on meeting minutes
after the meeting,
we had a football match
i scored 1 goal xD
"amkong" score
i played for a while
then adrian eu's mum
fetch me back...

Grandfather's 91th birthday

As usual,
woke up at the stroke of 8.00 a.m.
then watch movie and
had my breakfast

At 2.15 p.m. ,
i went to church
for youth session
we started at 4.00 p.m.
we played some games
and worship god...
then we pay our attention
to the speaker
although he spoke
in a boring way
but his message was good
"Bless those who persecute you;
bless and do not curse " Romans 12:14
"If it is possible, as far as it depends on you,
live at peace with everyone" Romans 12:18
we must learn them up

8.00 p.m.
we had our dinner in a restaurant
with my grandfather
to celebrate his 91th birthday
the food there
were delicious
we ate until 9.45 p.m.
then we went to my grandfather's home
he blessed all of us
good business,
good result,
healthy body...
we appreciated them

Athletic Badge Test

This suppose to be post yesterday
but...
i have forgotten
never mind
i will talk about yesterday

yesterday was 2008 last school day
then Holiday >.<
but,
i was absent
hahax ponteng sekolah
then here came the athletic badge test
At 2.00p.m. i went to
Stadium Bandaraya P.Pinang and
reached at 2.15p.m.
started with warming up
then we took our test...

long jump
everybody has 3 attempts
here my 1st attempt
i ran ran ran...
and jump
but i was failed
never mind
i tried the 2nd...
and 3rd...
but still cannot reach the passing line
dissapointed... haiz
then i asked for a chance
but still fail ...

Shot put (抛铅球)
so i went for shot put
to get a pass
we must throw until 9.75 metres
wah...
so difficult meh
with the power of god,
i threw and reached 9.45 metres
this was my greatest record
but i was still failed
anyway praise god

100 metres run
Anyone who took this
must finish the point
in 13.4 seconds
me, timothy, and jo el's turn
we were nervous
the officer gave command
"ke garisan" "sedia" "go"
we ran with our full speed
imagine there was a tiger behind us
but sadly
i took 14.2 seconds
timothy 14.1 seconds
then
we request for a 2nd chance
same thing happened
we took 14 seconds

All events
were finished
the officer gave us 100plus
3 person shared a bottle
then
we went back...

Platoon Leader Training Course

PLTC...
this name sounds strict
and
it was a 2 days 1 night camp
before i went to this course,
it gave me a bad feeling >.<
until that day...

i arrived there late
and did 40 push ups
and the course started with
drill haiz...
that was so sienz
after drill until 10.30 a.m.
we had a course on
secretary and treasurer

after the courses,
time for lunch haha
everybody got RM4
and we ate chicken rice
sadly, we were scammed
by the seller
we were shocked when we heard the price:
RM21 for 4 people
ofcourse we learned a lesson
Timothy, the Maple scammer
was also scammed by him
hahax
scammer scammed by the person too...

After the lunch,
we continued the course
and we had ball games
captain ball
and
football
my team lose both games.
hahax...

we went to a kopitiam
for dinner
me, timothy, jo el and corny
ate "wan than mee"
went back to church
singspiration...
watch movie...
somebody was "fishing" while watching.

Time for sleep!
we slept at 12 something
but somebody slept at 3 !!!

woke up at 7.30 a.m.
after breakfast,
we went for
sunday service
Timothy was "praying"
throughout the service

after the service
we went for lunch
at
Mcdonalds !!!
i'm loving it
this was my 1st time having Mcdonald
in a training camp
new feeling...

courses and courses...

there were something funny in the camp
we were laughing
at yu jun's ketiak
bad odour over him.
his properties were also stolen at night
laughing all the way
and timothy's "publicity is good"
was funny too
hahax

this PLTC was far away
from my expectation
more better i thought before
my ideal training camp...

Football match

lucky day !!!

i played a football match
and u know
what was the result?
9-7
haha we lost
but i hv scored 6 goals!!!
What an unbelievable score.
Hope that tomorrow
match can be
better than today!!!

Another interesting thing was
the blackjack "21 points" in our class.
i earned quite a huge amount
From the begining 48 monopoly $$
to 11,600 monopoly $$

how lucky am i.

clean the school hall.
Cleaning is our duty
Whenever there r
any function
we r responsible to the school
cleanliness
Our duty is to
pick up "sampah"

to clean the
hall
quite "sien"
We did the whole morning
sweeping,
mopping...
but not even
a single reward
better go to build
sandcastle lo
So thats all
